The Alboran Sea is one of the Mediterranean’s most fascinating marine areas. Departing from Puerto Marina in Benalmádena, travellers can look for wild dolphins while seeing the Costa del Sol from a completely different perspective.
What is the trip like?
Rumbo Verdadero’s trip lasts around two hours aboard a spacious 17-metre boat, with no more than 12 guests. The small-group format provides room to relax and personal attention from the crew.
Dolphins are wild animals and sightings can never be guaranteed. The crew uses its local knowledge to maximise the chances of an encounter while respecting the animals, their direction of travel and their natural habitat.
More than dolphin watching
When sea conditions allow, the boat stops for swimming away from crowded beaches. Snorkelling equipment and paddleboards are included, together with unlimited drinks and snacks. A canopy provides shade at the rear of the boat.
Is it suitable for families?
Yes. Life jackets are available for adults and children. Babies under 12 months do not count as paying passengers, but they must be included in the booking notes. The dolphin trip requires at least four confirmed passengers; if the minimum is not met, guests are offered another date or cancellation.
Before you board
