Things to do in Benalmádena at sunset: dinner at sea
A guide to enjoying the Costa del Sol sunset with sailing, Mediterranean food and a small group.
There are many ways to spend an evening in Benalmádena, but watching the sun set from the Mediterranean is among the most memorable. Sailing along the coast, sharing a toast and enjoying dinner on board makes an excellent choice for couples, anniversaries and celebrations.
A relaxed small-group evening
Rumbo Verdadero’s Sunset experience lasts around two hours aboard a 17-metre boat and is limited to 12 guests. It is designed as an intimate experience rather than a crowded sightseeing cruise.
What is on the menu?
A seasonal eight-course Mediterranean tasting menu with a gourmet touch is served on board. The selection may change during the year and includes selected wines, cava, soft drinks and water.
Allergies, intolerances and dietary requirements should be added to the booking notes so the team can adapt the menu whenever possible. A Burger King children’s meal can also be arranged; guests should state the number of children and any specifications when booking.
Timing follows the sunset
The advertised departure time may vary by up to 30 minutes throughout the year. This allows the experience to follow the best light and safe sailing conditions, so guests should always check their confirmation before arriving.
A special occasion
The trip is ideal for wedding anniversaries, birthdays, proposals or a memorable holiday evening. Special requests should be made in advance and remain subject to availability.
The experience includes captain, crew, fuel, insurance, life jackets and safety equipment. Boarding is at berth 68 in Puerto Marina and arrival 15 minutes early is recommended.
