Terms and conditions

Scope

These terms govern the booking of and participation in all activities organised by Náutica Rumbo Verdadero S.L., including dolphin watching, private charters, sunset dining experiences, private events and any other service offered by the company.

Booking any of our activities implies full acceptance of these terms.

Bookings

Bookings may be made through our website, by telephone or WhatsApp, and through the booking platforms authorised by Rumbo Verdadero.

A booking is confirmed once payment has been received or the relevant platform has confirmed it.

Prices and payment

All prices are shown in euros and include VAT and applicable local taxes.

Per-person prices apply to each participant. Private charter and event prices are for the whole boat, with a maximum of 12 passengers.

Payment is made using the methods available on each booking channel.

Cancellations and refunds

Free cancellation: you may cancel your booking up to 24 hours before departure and receive a full refund of the amount paid.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance, as well as failure to appear at the meeting point at the stated time, do not qualify for a refund.

Where the booking was made through a third-party platform, the cancellation conditions published on that platform for the relevant activity will apply.

Refunds are processed using the same payment method as the booking.

Cancellation by us

The safety of our passengers is our highest priority. Rumbo Verdadero may modify, delay, change the itinerary of or cancel an activity when weather, sea conditions or any other circumstance relating to safety makes it advisable.

If we cancel, you may choose between rescheduling to another available date or a full refund of the amount paid.

Timing and punctuality

Customers must arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before the departure time stated in the confirmation.

For safety and organisational reasons, the boat cannot delay departure because a participant is absent or late.

Failure to arrive at the stated time may result in loss of the booking with no right to a refund.

Itineraries

Published itineraries are indicative.

The skipper may change the route, the length of stops or any aspect of the navigation when necessary for safety, sea conditions, maritime traffic or instructions from the competent authorities.

Dolphin watching and marine wildlife

Wildlife-watching activities take place in the natural environment. Dolphins and other marine species are wild animals living free.

We therefore cannot guarantee sightings, although we use all our experience and knowledge of the area to maximise the chances of spotting them.

The absence of sightings does not entitle you to financial compensation unless expressly stated otherwise in the activity description.

Safety on board

All passengers must follow the instructions of the skipper and crew at all times.

Rumbo Verdadero may refuse boarding or end the participation of anyone whose behaviour may endanger the safety of the navigation, the other passengers or the crew. No refund applies in such cases.

Boarding and remaining on board are not permitted for anyone under the influence of alcohol or substances that may compromise the safety of the navigation.

Health

Each participant is responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to take part in the booked activity.

Customers must inform us in advance of any relevant medical circumstance that may affect their safety while sailing.

The activities are not accessible to wheelchair users.

Minors

Minors must travel accompanied by a responsible adult.

Parents or guardians are responsible for the behaviour and safety of minors throughout the activity.

Luggage and personal belongings

Each participant is responsible for their own belongings.

Rumbo Verdadero accepts no liability for loss, forgotten items or damage to personal property, except where legally required.

Protecting the marine environment

All passengers must respect the natural environment.

Throwing waste into the sea or any conduct that may harm wildlife or the environment is prohibited.

Photographs and video

Photographs or recordings may be taken during some activities for promotional purposes.

Customers who do not wish to appear in such material must tell Rumbo Verdadero staff before the activity begins.

Liability

Rumbo Verdadero is liable only in the cases provided for by applicable law.

It is not liable for delays, changes or cancellations caused by weather, decisions of the maritime authorities, unforeseeable breakdowns, force majeure or other circumstances beyond its control.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Spanish law.

Any dispute arising from the provision of the services will be resolved in accordance with applicable Spanish regulations.
